Computation and the brain
Peppa pig world
Cat, non-metaphorical
=(o·O)=
nothing, or w.t.f this is boring (something, self and language making its present felt after a long absence)
The brain, however, consists of highly complex neural networks that are interconnected and which are linked to the outside world to effect action…………..
That thought, been nagging for some time.
=(o·o)= use this in a range of ways, don’t give this aspect much thought, or don’t attempt to order or understand it often.

call that a scan line, an impulse to track any moving object.
*……………………………
No name, but its an overwhelming feeling of boredom, much more related to language and higher emotion.
Its easy to think of them as separate things. Quite a distinct sense of difference, scan impulse, it will leap on anything that moves, no discrimination and just sends an overwhelming impulse to act, move to the shiny thing.

Communication, boredom ← strong impulse (look at the shiny thing its moving).
Assesses to the visual system.
Crudely drawn, intentionally avoided the science here, left things a mess.

I would have that down as an older part of an evolved system. But still apart of a system. To act impulse, descriptive term I would use is its hungry, or it wants to eat.
Really strong movement impulse x moves · move to x.
Really fast, just scanning everything unrelentingly.
Although this is a heightened sense from a movement lab. Not entirely natural, running a complex maze.
Memory sense data/ shape/pattern.
Old but memorable.
Here, its really all I have, the thing to contrast anything I am reading with. Also really no idea in regard to how these experiments were constructed.
I know where to look, but that will take considerable time in the future. Also not sure the degree to which its going to be found on the page ( dramatic instruction, not book learning, so older instruction, often entirely absent).
But that’s an issue that’s a year or two away or more or never. Determine that later.
